People talk a lot about victims. At any given point in time, someone is a victim of something. But what’s the difference between someone who continues being a victim and someone who is not? Responsibility, accountability and self-interest.

Yes, the person or people who victimized the person are culpable. No doubt. But until the person who is at the receiving end decides to change things, things will not change.
